Hradec Králové is set to host the third annual IRONMAN 70.3 in the Czech Republic! This historic city, nicknamed the ‘Salon of the Republic’ and considered an open-air architectural book, is opening its gates to athletes from around the world. Dozens of towers, majestic churches, city walls and charming streets will create the backdrop for a unique sporting experience. The start and race centre are located right in the heart of the university town, on the banks of the Elbe River, where an unforgettable swim awaits you. Your every move will be accompanied by the applause and cheers of thousands of spectators. The bike course will take you through the picturesque and gently rolling countryside of eastern Bohemia, revealing its beauty and dynamism. The running section will take you around the confluence of the Elbe and Orlice rivers – a symbolic place where your determination, strength and emotions will come together. And then all that awaits you is the final triumphant stretch to the finish line on the historic Masaryk Square.
